I have always been a keen walker and go walking for hours at a time, whenever I can, enjoying the quiet solitude and meditative repetition of the experience.
If you ask me how to describe happiness, I picture myself walking in nature, with backpack on and a smile on my face.
Meditation is often thought of as only done sitting down, in right posture. I practice sitting meditation each day, however, walking meditation is also a known practice – a practice I personally find valuable and effective.
